Welcome to Claiborne County Schools’ Parent Involvement page!
When schools work together with families to support learning, children tend to succeed not just in school, but throughout life.
Studies show that a child’s academic achievement is directly influenced by their parent’s involvement in their education. From the day children are born until they graduate from high school, they spend just 15 percent of their waking hours in school. The other 85 percent is spent outside of school, and most of that time is spent at home. That means parents are a child’s most influential teacher. There are lots of things even busy parents can do to bolster a student for success. It is our hope that you will find these resources and information helpful!
