The vision of Midway Elementary is to continue to provide a caring, nurturing environment for teaching the whole child-morally, physically, aesthetically, as well as academically-the skills necessary to become responsible job ready citizens in a productive society.

Enviroment and Safety Conditions
Midway Elementary School is a secure, well-maintained facility that provides a safe learning environment for all students. Security cameras are placed throughout the building and are continuously monitored by the office staff. Visitors enter through the main lobby doors and are required to register in the office. A safety policy for Midway Elementary has been published and is in the possession of the faculty. The safety notebook designates all procedures that teachers should follow to ensure the safety of their students in the event of an emergency situation. Students practice evacuation procedures for fire on a routine basis, and the faculty receive updates and additional safety training during in-service.
