1. How do I obtain my high school records?
School records are available for all former Claiborne County Students. If you graduated in the past five years, contact your high school for records. Students more than five years since graduation must obtain records through the central office. Download, print, and fill out this form and return to Claiborne County Board of Education, 1403 Tazewell Road, Tazewell, TN 37879 along with a $10.00 processing fee. Records will be mailed within one week of receipt.

2. How do I apply to be a substitute teacher?
All high school graduates are eligible to substitute teach in Claiborne County.
3. How do I apply for a teaching assistant position in the schools?
To apply for a teaching assistant position, you must have either an associate degree, 48 college hours, or have passed the state ParaPro test. Applications will be given after you produce proper documentation of degree, credit hours, or passing the state ParaPro test. If hired, employees must be fingerprinted and pass a background check before beginning employment.
