I would like to welcome students and staff into the library. Cumberland Gap Library is in a state of transition this year. We are going from card catalog to automated cataloging. We are using the Destiny Automation System from Follett. This is a year-long process but much progress has been made. There will be a link very soon on the library's home page so that browsing is possible from home. Seven new computers have been provided this school year. TEL (Tennessee Electronic Library) is our main online research tool. There is a link on the library's home page for this database. Please remember that reading is very important. The more you read, the smarter you are! Remember the words of Mark Twain, "The man who doesn't read good books has no advantage over the man who can't read them."
